Not only are homes filled with fantastic figurines that recreate the birth of the baby Jesus, but the Balearic capital is also home to a very interesting Nativity route<\/strong> that brings together, year after year, thousands of people and whole families. A very special tradition in Mallorca that nourishes the Christmas spirit of families, especially that of the youngest members of the family, who look forward to this time of the year with great expectation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Cort Nativity scene<\/strong>. The most iconic Nativity Scene in Mallorca has 250 clay figures, handmade and hand-painted. Furthermore, the little ones can leave their letter to the Three Wise Men in the „Royal Mailbox“, a very special Mallorcan custom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening hours for visiting the Nativity Scene in Cort (Palma City Hall) are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am – 8:30 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Corte Ingl\u00e9s Nativity scene<\/strong>. It is one of the largest in Palma and has a very interesting audiovisual show. In addition, every year different children’s activities are held in aid of the Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres de Ni\u00f1os con C\u00e1ncer de Baleares (Aspanob) (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Balearic Islands).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neapolitan Nativity scene of the Fundaci\u00f3n March. Declared an „Asset of Cultural Interest“, it was exhibited in the Royal Palace in Madrid in 2007 and is one of the most interesting to visit in the Balearic capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fundaci\u00f3n Sa Nostra Nativity Scene<\/strong>. This is a nativity scene that depicts different typical scenes from the Mallorcan rural world and, without a doubt, is a must-see on the nativity scene route in Palma.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
